Acacia Blend is a seasonal rotation blend featuring two washed coffees from South America and Africa. The first component is Monte Albán from organic-certified small farmers near Oaxaca, Mexico, featuring Bourbon and Typica varieties with notes of yellow fruit, almond, citrus, vanilla, and honey. The second component comes from Muranga and Nyeri regions in Kenya at 1,600-2,000 meters altitude, including SL-28, SL-34, Ruiru-11, and Batian varieties grown in volcanic soil. Both components are processed using traditional washed methods with fermentation and raised bed drying. The blend offers flavors of milk chocolate, caramel, marzipan, golden apple, orange, strawberry, blackcurrant, pink grapefruit, and jasmine with honey sweetness and a syrupy body.
