This single origin coffee is from the Alto El Vapor micro-mill in Santa María de Dota, Tarrazú, Costa Rica. Located at 1900 meters elevation, the coffee is grown by Doña Mayra Solís and her family on their farm El Bosque. The Red Catuai variety is processed using the washed method. The coffee exhibits flavor notes of blackberry, apple, and milk chocolate. About 90% of the farm is maintained as natural conservation area, with a spring on the property supplying water to the local community.
