This coffee is from Aragash Gelcha, a producer in Halo Shashemene village, Halo Bariti kebele, in the Gedeb district of Ethiopia's Gedio zone—a region renowned for producing some of Yirgacheffe's most expressive coffees. Grown on a five-hectare farm intercropped with enset and fruit trees, this washed coffee features tasting notes of black tea and blackberry. The farm is managed by Aragash and her family of twelve, producing approximately 800 kilograms of green coffee per hectare.
