This natural process coffee originates from the Asman Gayo Mill in Aceh, Sumatra's Takengon region, at 1300-1650 meters altitude. The blend comprises Ateng, Bor Bor, Catimor, and Timor varieties. Medium roasted with a medium body, it delivers complex flavor layers of black forest cake, cherry, and brandy with cocoa-forward notes and a dessert-like syrup sweetness reminiscent of chocolate cherry cake.

Founded in 2020 at the onset of the COVID 19 pandemic, Moonwake Coffee Roasters emerged from the passion of two former tech engineers, Ming Wood from Tesla and Mabel Yeung from Meta.
