Stone Creek Coffee

About This Coffee

This half-caffeinated blend combines 50% caffeinated coffee from Colombia's Pickers Project with 50% sugarcane-decaffeinated coffee from northern Huila. The caffeinated portion supports fair employment for seasonal harvest workers. The decaf component is a blend of Castillo, Caturra, Colombia, Caturron, Geisha, Pink Java, and Bourbon varieties grown at 1,500-2,000 meters altitude. Both portions are sourced from Colombia's Huila and Nariño regions and processed using washed methods. The coffee has a medium roast profile with balanced acidity and mellow body, featuring flavor notes of blood orange, dried apricot, and brown sugar.

Stone Creek Coffee

Stone Creek Coffee was founded in 1993 in Whitefish Bay (Greater Milwaukee) by Eric Resch, who opened the first community-focused café and built the brand around craft coffee and local engagement. They roast in small batches with a farm-to-cup ethic—emphasizing origin clarity, regular cupping, staff education and origin trips, and worker-forward governance (employee-ownership and B Corp certification in 2022)—aiming to highlight terroir and community impact rather than flashy roast tricks.
