MaxHase Kaffee

MaxHase Kaffee was founded in 2019 in the Bavarian town of Mühldorf am Inn, operating from Auf der Wies 7a where a drum roaster visible through the cafe gives customers a front row seat to the roasting process. The name, combining "Max" with "Hase" (German for hare), lends a distinctive local character to a roastery focused on direct trade sourcing and ethical relationships with producers. Small batch specialty roasting in light to medium profiles is the standard, with sustainability and quality guiding every sourcing decision. The cafe opens Wednesday through Friday from 8am to 4pm, and the team is known for personalized consultations that help customers navigate flavors and find the right coffee for their individual taste preferences. Their signature roast, Lieblingshase (meaning "Favorite Hare"), anchors a lineup built on approachability and care.
