This washed coffee from the Sidama region of Ethiopia is sourced from Bensa. Founded in 2006 by brothers Asefa and Mulugeta Dukamo, Daye Bensa exports coffee from its farm in Shantawene Village and from smallholder farmers in three villages: Shantawene, Karamo, and Bombe. The washed processing method highlights fruity and floral characteristics. The coffee features flavor notes of peach, milk chocolate, and marmalade with a juicy profile balancing sweetness with a light tang. Roasted to a medium to light level.
