Bolivia Java Rosita

Bolivia Java Rosita

Carrier Roasting Co.

About This Coffee

This coffee is a single-origin Bolivia coffee from the Caranavi region, specifically from Finca Rosita, a 32-hectare farm owned by the Valverde-Aramayo family. The farm sits at an elevation of 1350-1740 meters above sea level and produces 100% Java variety. The beans are washed and fermented without water for 12-14 hours in steel tanks, then dried on raised beds for 15-20 days. The coffee offers tasting notes of vanilla, buttercream, and pineapple with a bright and complex flavor profile.

Carrier Roasting Co.

Carrier Roasting Co. was founded in 2011 by Ben Doxtator in Northfield, Vermont. The roastery operates a vintage Probat L12, producing lighter roast profiles designed to highlight origin characteristics in small batches. Sourcing is built on direct trade relationships with personal connections to farmers and importers, and the range includes single origin coffees and seasonal micro lots. Vermont Magazine named Carrier the best coffee roaster in the state. The café at Depot Square serves espresso, pour over, and retail beans, and the wholesale side supplies cafés and restaurants throughout Vermont.
