This washed coffee is from the Guji region of Ethiopia, specifically from the Bookkisa kebele in Odo Shakiso. The coffee is processed at Sookoo Coffee washing station, founded by Ture Waji and his brother Assefa. The lot contains two varieties: Gibirinna 74110 and Serto 74112, both originating from the Metu Bishari forest and selected by the Jimma Agricultural Research Centre in 1974 for Coffee Berry Disease resistance. Cherries were pulped, soaked for 12 hours, and dried on raised beds. The coffee features delicate, floral, and crisp characteristics with notes of citrus and fresh stone fruits.
