Brazil Ibiraci Single Origin For The Office

UE Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This coffee is produced from a handful of smallholder farms in the southeastern Mountains of Brazil. Ibiraci is a region with a higher altitude compared to its surroundings, a flat plateau that produces a great quality coffee. Seeking to take advantage of the mild climate and slower cherry maturation, farmers produce coffees known for their acidity and fruit-forward profiles. Modern machinery and high-tech methodologies to cultivate and process the coffee are leading the way for speciality coffee in this region. For these reasons, mechanized harvesting is fairly common as it can produce a consistent and quality coffee with natural being the main processing method. This coffee has been sourced and roasted for espresso.

UE Coffee Roasters

UE Coffee Roasters was founded in 2009 by Dominic Boyett in Witney, Oxfordshire, with the roastery established in 2012. The team brings over 50 years of combined experience in specialty coffee and roasts Monday through Friday at their production facility, which is visible to visitors through the adjoining roastery café. They source from 58 farms through direct, long standing trading relationships, and every wholesale partner receives on site quality control visits every six weeks. Beyond roasting, the business offers SCA barista training courses, equipment rental programmes, loose leaf tea blending, and a white label roasting service. All packaging is 100% recyclable, and the company works with machine partners including Victoria Arduino, Conti, Rocket, and Mahlkonig.
