This coffee is from the Norte Pienero region of Brazil. Until 1974, this region accounted for 30-50% of the world's coffee production, but two years of frost devastated the harvests and the area was largely abandoned. Since 2010, production has resumed on a smaller scale with a focus on quality over quantity. This is a dark roasted coffee with chocolate flavor notes.
