Cowpresso Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This single origin coffee is from Fazenda Rancho Grande in Brazil, featuring the Topazio variety grown at 950 meters elevation. The coffee undergoes natural anaerobic processing, resulting in flavor notes of licorice, dried fruits, dark chocolate, and tropical fruits. It has a rich and syrupy body with medium acidity and is roasted to a medium roast level. The farm, established in 1933 by Mr Aneite Reis, uses static drying boxes for processing, where mechanically harvested cherries are sorted by density and dried at 35 degrees for 11 days before resting for 26 days to stabilize moisture levels.
