This single origin coffee is produced by 400 farmers organized around the Incuti producer group in Kayanza Province, Burundi. Cultivated at 1,900 meters altitude, the coffee is fully washed and sun-dried. The processing reveals a nuanced profile with flavor notes of fig, dried apple, caramel, and chocolate. Roasted to a light level at 13% DTR, this offering embodies the meticulous craftsmanship and rich heritage of Burundi's coffee tradition.
Webe Coffee opened in Phoenix in early 2023, founded by TJ Sutton after a ten month buildout of the original location. The roastery operates a 20 kilogram production roaster alongside an Ikawa Pro sample roaster, sourcing specialty grade beans from origins including Colombia and Ethiopia. Sustainability is woven into the daily operation, from compostable packaging to donating used coffee grounds to local composters. It is a young roastery building its identity around intention and care at every step of the process.
