This coffee is produced at Nyagishiru station located near the Ruvubu River in northeastern Burundi. It is a washed coffee grown in the hilly region of Muyanga at an average altitude of 1600 meters. The coffee is from the Red Bourbon variety and was harvested in 2024-2025. The Nyagishiru station is owned by Matsitsi Trading Coffee (MATRACO), founded by Zuberi Matsitsi in 2015, who manages over 7,000 coffee trees. The coffee offers a pleasant cup with lively acidity, balanced taste, and long finish featuring red grape and citrus notes.
