From the Ngozi region of Burundi, this single-origin coffee is produced by women farmers at Burundi's first washing station owned by women. The farmers built their own wet mill in 2019 through an investment fund called Turihamwe Turashobora. Meaning "together" in Kirundi, this washed coffee offers bright citrus acidity, sweet candy and plum flavors, with a subtle herbal rosemary fragrance. Grown at 1750 MASL elevation, the varietal is Bourbon and roast is Light.
Cerberus Coffee Co. was founded in 2019 by Cody and Tina in Jacksonville, Oregon, operating a 600 square foot café and micro bakery alongside a roastery in the Applegate Valley. The queer and BIPOC owned company sources Fair Trade coffee, consistently paying above minimums with transparent farmgate pricing, and established Southern Oregon's first co roasting programme allowing others to rent facility space. Their signature Wizard Cat espresso blend directs a portion of proceeds to trans and LGBTQI+ resources including Trans Lifeline. The micro bakery runs a stone deck oven producing vegan donuts, overnight focaccia, and seasonal quiches alongside the coffee programme.
