About This Coffee

This is a medium roasted seasonal blend consisting of 50% Guatemala Acatenango and 50% Ethiopia Jimma. The Guatemala component is produced by Mario Alarcón, while the Ethiopia component comes from Telila CWS. Both components are washed process. The blend is grown at elevations between 1475-2000 meters above sea level. Varieties include Caturra, 74112, and Ethiopian Landraces. The coffee is sweet and balanced with tasting notes of milk chocolate, citrus, and balanced character.

Sourcing is built on direct trade relationships with personal connections to farmers and importers, and the range includes single origin coffees and seasonal micro lots. Vermont Magazine named Carrier the best coffee roaster in the state. The café at Depot Square serves espresso, pour over, and retail beans, and the wholesale side supplies cafés and restaurants throughout Vermont.
