CoffeeLab Decaf

Coffeelab was originally founded in Eindhoven under the full name CoffeeLab UC, with the UC standing for Under Construction as a reflection of the team's belief that the operation should always be striving for improvement rather than settling into a finished identity. The venture was created by Rob Bongers from a hospitality development background, Jan Willem van de Aa in hospitality, and Jeroen Veldkamp, a two time barista champion whose competition experience brought technical rigor to the roasting and brewing programs from the start. The Den Bosch space occupies a distinctive monumental corner building at the famous Golden Dragon fountain directly across from the central train station, a three story space with a modern industrial atmosphere filled with plants, natural light, quirky posters, and copper lampshades that sets it apart from the typical Dutch interior. Coffeelab operates as an all day dining concept serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner alongside its specialty coffee program, with dietary options spanning halal, gluten free, lactose free, vegan, and vegetarian, making it one of the most inclusive specialty venues in the southern Netherlands. The name Under Construction has proven prophetic, as the operation continues to evolve its offering with the same restless energy that its founders embedded in the brand from the beginning.
