Single-origin washed coffee from the Hoyo Rico farm in Guitar, Anza, Antioquia, Colombia, grown at 2100 meters altitude. Processed using double fermentation. The Chiroso varietal exhibits balanced flavor characteristics with tasting notes of plum and maple syrup when brewed on flat-bottomed drippers, with raspberry acidity. Conical dripper brewing brings out white confectioner's sugar sweetness and tangerine acidity notes. Recommended as a daily drinker for filter brewing methods including flat-bottomed drippers, conical drippers, and Aeropress.
Flux Coffee was founded in 2010 in Berkeley, California, originally as a cold brew coffee company with a proprietary brewing method. The operation later relocated to the East Coast, opening a cafe and roastery at 211 Main Street in Farmingdale on Long Island, New York. Coffee is roasted weekly, and the menu spans single origins from Panama, Colombia, and Papua New Guinea alongside the cold brew program that started it all.
