This Colombian coffee is from Finca El Porvenir in Palestina, Huila, grown at 1750-1850 meters altitude. Produced by Sandra Milena Mora and Hector Coy on their 12-hectare farm, where they cultivate around 20,000 Caturra trees on 5 hectares. The coffee is organically grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. The Caturra variety undergoes 36-48 hours of wet fermentation and is dried on raised beds - pre-dried on African beds for 5 days, then finished in a shade house for 20 days. Flavor notes include dark chocolate, caramel, and berries.
