Colombia La Praderita is a single-origin coffee produced in Colombia by José Ignacio Cubillos. It uses a fermentation process locally called cochada, where depulped cherries are layered in a fermentation tank with yeasts, then finished with a wash. The cup is described as fruity and juicy with notes reminiscent of blackberries, pineapple, and key lime pie.
The first coffee roaster in Cambridge, Broadsheet opened in 2017 , with owner Aaron McDougall, a finalist at the US Roasting Championship, shifting into coffee from a previous careerin banking. Aaron is an Arabica Q-Grader and sources exceptional coffees from around the world that range from comforting to experimental and eye-opening.
