This coffee is from La Soledad farm in Acevedo, Colombia, owned by 2nd generation farmer Mario Fernando Gomez. The farm has been producing coffee since the 1960s. This lot features the Chiroso variety processed using natural method with 130 hours of fermentation and dried on raised beds for 24 days. The farm employs agricultural best practices including composting for soil fertility, water conservation techniques, and shade-grown coffee to promote biodiversity and protect against soil erosion.
