This single-origin Geisha from Las Margaritas (Cafe Granja La Esperanza) in Caicedonia, Valle del Cauca, Colombia (1650–1850 MASL) is a washed-processed coffee. The cherries undergo an 18-hour open-tank fermentation, are pulped, then undergo a 24-hour aerobic fermentation before the mucilage is rinsed; beans are dried in mechanical dryer silos for 3–5 days at 38°C and rested in climate-controlled storage. Tasting notes include blackberry, jasmine, vanilla, iced tea, mandarin, and brown sugar.
