This premium Colombian coffee originates from the Planadas region in Tolima. Grown at high altitude, this coffee is known for its clean and balanced flavor profile. It offers a fruit-forward experience with distinct tasting notes of orange, caramel, and cherry, accompanied by a lingering sweetness.
Amy and Scott Angelo founded Oceana Coffee Roasters in Tequesta, Florida in 2009, beginning with a DIY popcorn maker before evolving their equipment as the operation expanded. A 7 kilogram Diedrich in 2011 provided their first purpose built roaster, and today they operate a Giesen roaster that enables greater production capacity and precision. Scott holds certification as an Arabica Q Grader and maintains 15 year relationships with brokers and farms, sourcing exclusively from the top 5 percent of coffees worldwide. Recognition includes a Silver Medal at the Golden Bean World Series and Scotts selection as Overall Best Roaster at the 2016 Golden Bean North America competition, acknowledging the roasterys pursuit of excellence.
