Produced by Suukala Amucaflome at 1690 meters altitude, this washed coffee is made from Castillo, Caturra, Colombia, and Pink Bourbon varieties. It has a cup score of 85 and presents flavor notes of pear, medjool date, and macadamia. The coffee works well in all brewing methods.
Founded in 2015 by Ian, Jamie, and Kathryn, Sacred Grounds is Angus's first and only specialty coffee roastery. Operating from a small unit on the banks of Brothock Burn in Arbroath, Scotland, the team roasts single origin coffees in small batches on a 5kg Toper machine named Fatima. Their approach favours light to medium roast profiles, with a seasonal sourcing model that sees their range shift throughout the year to reflect what's freshest and most traceable. All coffees are ethically traded, and the roastery ships across the UK from Orkney to Cornwall.
