This coffee is collected from three farms—Santa Rosa, El Refugio, and El Respaldo—in the region surrounding Bogotá, Colombia. The coffee is produced using the traditional washed method with varying lengths of wet fermentation to encourage complex flavor development. Roasted to enhance these qualities, it presents sweet red cherry and date notes with a malted milk chocolate finish.
Rob and Vikki Hodge founded Rave Coffee in Cirencester in 2011. The roastery moved into a renovated building on Phoenix Way in spring 2023, housing two Loring roasters, a 70kg and the original 35kg. They roast to order daily and have accumulated over 24,000 five star reviews. The Independent voted their subscription the Best Overall Coffee Subscription in 2024. Rave is a 1% for the Planet member and has planted over 22,000 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Their range covers blends, single origins, pods, brew bags, cold brew, and green beans for home roasting.
