This coffee is a single origin from Colombia, specifically from the Planadas region in Tolima. Produced by the ASOPEP Association at the El Indio farm, this coffee is made from 100% Caturra variety, a natural mutation of Red Bourbon. The cherries were hand-harvested and sun-dried on raised beds with careful temperature and humidity control. It offers a rich and heavy body with ripe fruit notes, cocoa, and a distinctive funk character.
Vaga Bon Café roasts from a facility in Lavaux and runs a cafe in Lausanne's Flon district, founded by travelers with a philosophy inspired by the vagabond spirit of discovery. They source unique and interesting coffees from their journeys around the world, both literal and figurative. Their mission is to share these global coffee discoveries and the stories behind them.
