Caffè Colombino was founded by Sebastian Lloreda, who grew up in Cali, Colombia, and opened the first location in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania in April 2023. The roastery sources exclusively from Colombian farmers through a direct trade model built on what Lloreda calls Relationship Coffee principles, with the primary supplier being Mina Rica, a female owned farm in the Antioquia region run by third generation farmer Carolina Posada. The team conducts soil analysis with farming partners and participates in mill maintenance to support quality at origin. All coffee is hand picked from Colombian mountain farms and roasted locally in Pittsburgh's South Hills. The business now operates three locations across the Pittsburgh area.
