A limited blend collaborative coffee between Verve Coffee and Grateful Dead. Anchored by an organic Ethiopian coffee from producer Mustefa Abakeno in Beshasha Kebele, Jimma zone of Western Ethiopia. The coffee is cultivated at 1950-2100 meters elevation and features Ethiopian Heirloom cultivars. The washed processing is done with partial shade drying using shade netting to control temperature and UV exposure, which prevents parchment cracking and preserves aromatic compounds. The result is a clean, articulate profile with flavor notes of starfruit, Meyer lemon, and black tea. Light roast level.

They roast in small batches on vintage Probat roasters, aiming to craft a future for coffee that is equitable and innovative.
