This coffee is grown at Aquiares Estate in the Turrialba region of Costa Rica on the slopes of the Turrialba Volcano at 1,400 meters altitude. It features the Milenio Hybrid variety, a first-generation hybrid crossing T5296 with Rume Sudan, resulting in a disease-resistant variety with exceptional cup quality. The coffee is washed processed and showcases a citrus-forward profile with notes of pear, mandarin, tangerine, green tea, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla, layered with floral aromatics, sugar cane sweetness, and a subtle dark chocolate finish.
