This single-origin coffee comes from the La Lia farm and micro mill in Santa Rosa de Leon Cortez, Tarrazú, Costa Rica. Produced by brothers Luis and Oscar Monge at Piesan farm, the coffee is grown at 1,900-2,000 meters above sea level. The SL28 variety is processed using the red honey method. The farm spans 60 hectares divided into 7 plots, with the highest areas reaching 2,100 meters where cherries ripen slowly, resulting in high sugar concentration. The coffee features wild, tropical flavor notes with strawberry milkshake characteristics. Perfectly ripe cherries are handpicked by trained pickers and sorted by farm, cultivar, and picking date.
