Single-estate peaberry from Costa Rica’s Tarrazu (San Marcos), sourced from Coopetarrazu and Finca La Candelilla at about 1,676 meters elevation. Shade-grown and rainforest-certified, this Arabica peaberry is washed and sun-dried. Medium roast with a bright, medium-bodied cup featuring lemon, almond, and honey notes.

Volcanica Coffee began in 2004 when Costa Rican-born Maurice Contreras started importing richly flavored beans from volcanic regions right out of his garage. What began as a side passion soon grew into a family-run specialty roaster, roasting on demand in Atlanta and sending each batch out within a day. Their approach is simple, unyielding: showcase terroir-driven, exotic single-origin beans from volcanic soils, roast them with care, and ship only when they’re at their freshest.
