About This Coffee

This single origin coffee features the San Isidro 48 hybrid variety, a Sarchimor hybrid derived from Villa Sarchi and Timor, developed to thrive in Costa Rica's growing conditions. Produced at Sonora Coffee, the on-site mill at Hacienda Sonora, located at the base of Poás Volcano in the Central Valley at 1,300 meters altitude. The coffee is naturally processed and grown on a shade-grown estate operated by three generations of farmers committed to conservation and sustainability. The farm operates on 100% renewable energy. The cup profile offers bright acidity and fruit-forward character with melon, macadamia nut, black tea, and orange peel notes.
