This coffee is the first offering from Timor Leste, produced by a 24-farmer cooperative working with Karst Organics (Kar Yee and Stewart). The coffee achieves a beautiful clarity and balance of delicate flavors. It is roasted on the light side and is suitable for filter brewing and very light espresso preparations.
Kota Coffee Co. is a micro roastery in Farnham, Surrey, founded by Dan Neaves. Dan came from an engineering background and started roasting at home before turning it into a business. The roastery works with specialty grade Arabica from the top 3% of global production, sourcing from Colombia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Timor Leste, Mexico, and Uganda. Every order triggers a tree planting through their Ecologi partnership. They also offer bespoke blends and white label roasting for wholesale clients, and sell directly at farmers' markets.
