This decaf coffee is from Mina Rica farm in the Antioquia region of Colombia, owned by 3rd generation producer Carolina Posada. The coffee is grown at 1,750 meters above sea level and features the Castillo variety. It is processed using the washed method and decaffeinated through the sugarcane process (Ethyl Acetate derived from fermented sugarcane). The flavor profile includes nutty, chocolate, and caramel apple notes.
Square One Coffee has been roasting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania since 2000.
