Decaf Blend

About This Coffee

This blend combines high-grown South American and East African coffees, decaffeinated using the Swiss Water process which extracts caffeine from green coffee beans with pure water instead of chemicals. The result is a full-bodied decaf with notes of red berry, sweet vanilla, and chocolate. Created to deliver the flavor of an espresso blend without the caffeine.

Lighthouse Roasters

Lighthouse Roasters has been roasting coffee in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood since 1993, operating from the same 120 year old Craftsman building where it started. The centerpiece of the operation is a vintage 1952 Gothot cast iron drum roaster, a machine the team has adapted over three decades to produce a depth of character they believe modern automated equipment cannot replicate. The 15 person team brings over 250 years of combined roasting and barista experience, with many staff members having worked at Lighthouse for 10, 15, or more than 25 years. Sourcing priorities lean toward clean, sweet, well structured coffees from producers and cooperatives who share the same commitment to craft. The roastery has remained independent and intentionally small, preferring to let the vintage roaster and the consistency of its people define the quality.
