This Colombian decaffeinated coffee is sourced from 20 smallholder farms of the Mártir Coffee Producers Association in La Plata, Huila at 1,700-2,000 meters elevation. It is a blend of Castillo, Caturra, Colombia, and Typica varieties processed using the EA/Sugarcane Decaf method, which removes 97% of caffeine while enhancing sweetness. The coffee exhibits apple and caramel notes with a rounded body, light to medium roast level, and balanced acidity with pleasant, clean flavor characteristics suitable for both filter coffee and espresso.
Great Minds Coffee Roasters was founded in 2019 by Chris and Emily Pacileo in Oakville, Connecticut, housed in the historic Old Pin Shop, a former manufacturing facility that operated for over a century.
