Gimme Coffee

About This Coffee

This decaffeinated coffee is sourced from smallholder farmers in Colombia's Huila region. The coffee undergoes strict quality control to ensure it is above specialty grade before the caffeine is removed using a sugarcane molasses solvent decaffeination method. This processing method preserves natural sweetness. The cup profile features sweet molasses and sugared graham notes balanced with soft citrus and spice.

Gimme Coffee

Gimme! Coffee was founded on April 8, 2000, by Kevin Cuddeback in Ithaca, New York, helping to shape the specialty coffee culture of the Finger Lakes region from its earliest days. In July 2022 the company completed a transition to a worker owned cooperative, giving the people who roast, brew, and serve the coffee a direct stake in the business. The roastery operates Probat drum style roasters at its Ithaca facility, producing coffees sourced through direct trade relationships with producers around the world. Cuddeback stepped down as CEO in early 2020, and the cooperative structure formalized the collaborative ethos that had defined the company for two decades. Today Gimme! serves its community from locations in Ithaca and Trumansburg, carrying forward the same commitment to quality and transparency that launched it over twenty years ago.
