About This Coffee

Decaf El Tablon Colombia is a decaffeinated coffee from Colombia processed with the Sugar Cane Process. Before decaffeination, the beans undergo a washed process, followed by 12-24 hours of dry fermentation and 12-15 days of drying on raised beds. The Sugar Cane Process uses sugars from sugar cane mixed with compounds found in beer and wine, removing at least 97% of caffeine. The coffee offers sweet, full-bodied flavor with notes of green grapes and berries.

Ikon Roastery

Ikon Roastery was founded in 2016 by Marcel Costas in South San Francisco, California, after a transcendent coffee experience in 2011 set him on a new path. Costas runs the company alongside co founder and Director of Operations Alex Le as a family business. The roastery produces medium bodied, sweet, juicy profiles and rotates its specialty offerings every ninety days to keep the lineup fresh. Ikon holds California Green Certification for its environmental practices and partners directly with producers who prioritize sustainable farming and fair labor. An Especial Line spotlights exceptionally rare coffees, while everyday offerings like the Carl The Fog blend anchor the roster.
