This decaf coffee from Mexico features flavor notes of dark chocolate, raisin, and brown sugar with a full body. It is processed using the EA Natural method and is 100% Swiss Water Process decaffeinated with no chemicals. The coffee has a dark roast profile and is suitable for both espresso drinks and brewed coffee.
Uncommon Coffee started as a cafe in Saugatuck, Michigan in 1994, founded by Guy Darienzo and Stephen Keye. In 2021, after 27 years under the original owners, the business was acquired by Bruno Nobre and Mauricio DaSilva, both from multi generational coffee farming families in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. They had previously supplied beans to Uncommon as partner farmers, making the transition from grower to roaster a natural one. The roastery now serves over 200 businesses across the Midwest. Uncommon is farmer owned and minority owned, and operates with a goal of being landfill free, using BPI certified compostable cups and sleeves throughout.
