Case Study Coffee Roasters

Case Study Coffee Roasters was founded by Wes Russell and Christine Herman, opening their first café on NE Sandy Boulevard in 2010 in Portland, Oregon. The team roasts on a Loring S7 Nighthawk, an energy efficient single burner machine, producing light to medium profiles that showcase each coffee's origin. Sourcing is built on annual origin trips to develop direct farmer relationships, and the range includes single origin coffees, blends, and seasonal micro lots. Case Study operates two Portland locations on NE Sandy Boulevard and downtown on SW 10th Avenue, both serving full espresso bars. The roastery has won multiple awards including Best Coffee from Willamette Week.
