A single-origin coffee from Costa Rica, produced by Diego Robelo at Aquiares Estate in the Turrialba region, grown at 1,200–1,400 meters above sea level. The variety is Mariana, an F1 hybrid developed in Costa Rica by CATIE in collaboration with CIRAD, combining IAPAR 59 (Brazil) and ET47 (Ethiopian wild variety). Processed using anaerobic natural fermentation in sealed barrels for three days, followed by sun-drying on African beds for approximately 20 days. Tasting notes include blackberry, cacao nibs, mandarin, and cherry. Recommended for filter brewing.
Harmony Roasters began in 2021 when Dani sold his motorbike to buy a one kilogram capacity roaster. Together with his partner Agatha, who handles photography, social media, and the web presence, Dani built a micro roastery in Montcada i Reixac on the outskirts of Barcelona. His approach favours minimal intervention, letting the coffee's natural character come through rather than imposing a heavy roast signature. It paid off quickly: Dani won both the Catalan Coffee Roasting Championship and the Spain Roasters Championship in 2021, then took the Catalan title again in 2022. The roastery uses fully compostable packaging and supplies several businesses around Barcelona.
