Five Oars Coffee Roasters

Five Oars Coffee Roasters began in 2018 as a Melbourne inspired cafe in the Tanjong Pagar neighborhood, born from a team that set out to explore the unexplored in specialty coffee. The operation has since grown to three locations: the Heritage flagship at Tanjong Pagar Road, an Upper East Coast cafe, and a takeaway coffee bar at Asia Square Tower 1. All espresso drinks are built on beans roasted in house, rotating between two house blends every fortnight, including Mahogany, a Brazil and Colombia combination with cacao, milk chocolate, and hazelnut notes, and Siren's Allure, a lighter, berry forward option. The cafes run a full day and night menu that stretches well beyond typical cafe fare, with dishes like white wine vongole and grilled octopus alongside brunch staples.
