About This Coffee

This coffee is from the Tumba washing station in the Rulindo region of Rwanda's Northern Province, situated at approximately 1800 meters altitude. The coffee is produced by over 1600 smallholder farmers who grow cherries in mineral-rich volcanic soil. Processed using the washed method, this is a Bourbon variety coffee. The result is a juicy and sweet cup with notes of caramel, chocolate, and dried fruit. Tumba washing station provides free organic compost and shade trees to contributing farmers to maintain quality.
