This is a single origin coffee from Finca El Injerto in the La Libertad region of Huehuetenango, Guatemala, grown at 1500-2000 meters altitude. The farm has won an unprecedented 8 first place finishes in the Cup of Excellence competition, with the Pacamara variety winning in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, and 2015. This is a washed coffee featuring tasting notes of Cara Cara Orange, Pandan, and Key Lime.
Evan Inatome and his brother in law Winston Justice, a former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle, founded Elixr Coffee in 2010 on Walnut Street in Center City Philadelphia. The roastery now operates seven locations across Philadelphia, State College, Nashville, and Philadelphia International Airport's Terminal B. Elixr specializes in lighter roasted coffees with a focus on sourcing quality, and holds Fair Trade and Organic certifications. The team's competitive record includes a second place finish at the 2018 U.S. Barista Championship and multiple top ten finishes at U.S. Roasting Championship events.
