This coffee comes from Hacienda El Rodeo in Santander, Colombia, founded in 2011 by Alfonso Reyes and his son Cristian. The farm spans 170 hectares total, with approximately 25 hectares preserved as natural protection for the ecosystem. The coffee is a Castillo variety processed using the double washed method, involving two separate fermentation stages and washing cycles before drying. This process produces clear acidity, highlights fruitiness, and delivers sweetness reminiscent of toffee. The flavor profile features toffee sweetness, stone fruit notes, a clean and smooth body, and an elegant, balanced finish that reflects the terroir of Curití.
