About This Coffee

El Tambo – Nariño is a washed single-origin coffee grown on Finca San Francisco under the care of producer Diego Lopez in the high elevations of Nariño, Colombia. Cultivated between 1,800–2,100 MASL, this lot showcases the balance and sweetness typical of Colombian coffees. Expect rich layers of dark chocolate and caramel with bright citrus and fruity notes of fig and grape. Black Arrows Coffee

Daniel and Nikole Zamudio co founded Black Arrows Coffee in 2015, starting with a small cafe in California before relocating to Washington state and shifting to an online roasting and wholesale model. They now roast in small batches from Auburn, Washington, and opened their first Seattle retail location in Belltown in 2024. Sourcing spans Latin America and East Africa, with offerings like single origins from Nariño in Colombia and Yirgacheffe in Ethiopia alongside house blends. The operation reflects Nikole's Mexican heritage in touches like a homemade Mexican mocha syrup and Día de Muertos celebrations. Community runs through the core of the project: regular public cuppings, a recently launched barista school, and monthly coffee raves that combine live DJ sets with specialty coffee in what has become one of Seattle's more distinctive gathering formats.
