This coffee is a single origin from Rwanda, grown at 2,000 meters above sea level in the Ruli Sector of Gakenke District in the Northern Province. It is a fully washed Red Bourbon variety, sun-dried on raised beds. The coffee originates from Elie Nzabakunda's farm, which is situated close to the Ruli washing station operated by the Musasa Dukunde Kawa cooperative. The coffee offers a bright peachy acidity with subtle black tea complexity and honey sweetness.
Faodail Roastery is a Glasgow based specialty roaster founded by Kenneth and Simone. The name is Gaelic for "lucky find." They keep the range deliberately focused: one blend and a small number of single origins, chosen for quality and seasonality. All coffee is 100% Arabica, roasted in small batches to order and dispatched immediately to preserve freshness. Sourcing runs through leading specialty importers with an emphasis on ethical, sustainable, and traceable supply chains. Their retail packaging is fully recyclable and carbon neutral, and wholesale customers receive complimentary barista training.
