Grown by smallholder farmers at high altitude with cool temperatures and traditional organic farming practices, including shade trees and intercropping with food crops. The slower cherry ripening at elevation allows for greater flavor development. Known for complex and vibrant flavors including citrus, peach, lime, and hints of blueberry or red grape, with a rich body and a bright, lingering aftertaste.
