This coffee is produced by Mustefa Abakeno, a smallholder with 18 hectares of land near Agaro in the Jimma Zone of Western Ethiopia. The farm sits at 2,000-2,100 meters above sea level and grows coffee varieties 74110 and 74112 from the Jimma research centre. The coffee is washed processed, with a short 8-hour fermentation period before being dried on raised beds for 13-16 days, resulting in a light honey process character. The coffee displays bright and complex flavours including green apple, apricot, bergamot, orange and honey.
