This coffee is from producer Tgsit Boru, a woman farmer from Beloya, Kochere district in the Gedeo zone of Ethiopia. The farm is located at 1,700 meters above sea level on 2.8 hectares of land. The coffee includes Heirloom varieties known locally as Kumie, Dega, and Wilsho, grown under native shade trees including Cordia Africana, Acacia, Ensete, and Ventricosum. The coffee is washed processed with a 36-hour fermentation followed by sun drying on raised African beds. Flavor notes include toffee, floral, and blackberry. Harvested November-December and imported by Covoya.
